Mr. Wang is one of them. He had double harvest in his family and career. His baby is 5 months old.
Mr. Wang’s boyfriend was his university classmate. They began to love in the sophomore year. After graduation, they came out of the closet before their family. In several months of misunderstanding, they supported and encouraged each other and later they started up their business.
If they were born unlucky in an exclusive family, they were lucky to see their business begin to take shape. While their relationship became stable and their studio was on the right track, Mr. Wang and his love began to get on well with his parents until they were entirely accepted by his parents.
Although Mr. Wang is one amidst sexual minorities, he likes children naturally. Even though his parents didn’t urge him to have a child, he and his boyfriend have considered this matter and found the IVF center.
On Oct. 8, 2021, Mr. Wang met Mike, a consultant of this IVF center for the first time, with whom Mr. Wang had chatted for half a month. After they confirmed all the key points of the project face to face, they signed an agreement. They felt pressed for time if they wanted a baby to be born in the year of tiger.
Admittedly, to Mr. Wang, everything went smoothly. In general, it will take about 1 month to find an egg donor. He found his ideal candidate in 5 days after signing the agreement. Mr. Wang and his family were very satisfactory with the candidate’s height, figure and qualifications.
At the end of October, the volunteer smoothly completed ovulation induction cycle and donated 20 eggs, including 18 mature ones. These mature eggs were cultured with his sperm. At the beginning of November, Mr. Wang was told that a total of 12 good quality embryos had been cultured. Two weeks later, he received PGS result: 9 embryos were screened out, including 6 male embryos and 3 female embryos.
The whole process went as expected and Mr. Wang and his family were very excited and happy. Mike, who had worked in the IVF field for many years, said he met so efficient and smooth project for the first time.
While the embryos were cultured, the surrogate mothers were screened at the same time. With the efforts of Mike and his co-workers, the surrogate mother was successfully matched with the embryo on Nov. 17 almost when it was just prepared. These links were seamlessly connected!
In this way, Mr. Wang’s dream of tiger baby was on the way from signing, volunteer selection and surrogate mother screening to implantation in just one month and a half. 10 days later, the surrogate mother was confirmed pregnant in the pregnancy test: his baby was implanted stably!
At present, all regular antenatal care is provided according to the procedure. Every time, the surrogate mother is guided by a specially-assigned person and sent to home by a car. The expected date of confinement is in August this year, namely Mr. Wang and his love will have their baby of virgo.
Mr. Wang said, in the period when he came out of the closet before his family, he felt he was entirely abandoned by the world and had a sense of missing his step. Fortunately, all was gone. He thanks his boyfriend who has always accompanied him and his up-coming baby. He has never longed for a summer like this!
